What our clients are saying
During my tenure as President of the GE Foundation, Dr. Cosey co-authored a $1.5 million proposal for a workforce training grant for her college in partnership with one of the city’s agencies. I can personally attest to the fact that both her leadership and her role as a thought partner in this capacity led to the awarding of the grant. Her consistent commitment to excellence coupled with a results-oriented approach enables her to lead efficiently and effectively.
Arnel is an inspirational leader and partner. When our national anti-poverty organization (based in New York City) expanded into Louisiana’s community colleges, Arnel devoted herself to its success. Arnel inspired support from college staff, system leadership, community providers, students, and faculty. She understands how to navigate public and private partnerships, locally and nationally, in order to meet those needs.
I had the opportunity to work closely with Dr. Arnel Cosey through our Single Moms Success Design Challenge, a multi-year initiative to design innovative approaches for community colleges to improve postsecondary outcomes for single mother learners. Arnel understands that transformational change requires collaboration. She never hesitates to roll up her sleeves and dive into the project at hand.
Dr. Arnel Cosey was a partner with the Fab Foundation for four years on a high profile, pioneering project for education, entrepreneurship and community impact.
Dr. Cosey’s work is thoughtful, strategic and deeply aligned with community. Trust, partnership and impact are the three words that come to mind when working with Dr. Cosey. And working with her has been our great pleasure.
